You can take it to an auto parts store and have them hook it up to a hand held computer and they will give you the error code.  If you bring that error code back here I can help you out with that.

I would take the van to an auto parts store and have them read the code(s) and then get back to me.

I would have this vehicle scope tested to see which, if any cylinder is misfiring. A tune up WILL NOT necessarily eliminate any ignition malfunction, but a QUALIFIED tech will note a problem. Many factors can be involved in a MISFIRE, including, coils, compression, timing, and more. Hope this helps

Having the "CODES" read again, will only tell you what you have already been told," ENGINE MISFIRE". A scope test at your GMC dealer would be recommended, but any QUALIFIED scope operator should be able to determine the fault. Have them also clear the computer codes, and see if the service light stays off. Does the van accelerate smoothly, or rough and uneven ?

I changed my spare plug wires but still the engine service soon light still is on

I have a 1999 Mercury tracer. I was driving down the highway two weeks ago and my check engine light came on. i went to autozone and he said something about misfire on bank and vacuum leak. He said it bascially was a tune up. i got in my car the next day and the light went off. it didnt come back on. Last sunday i got a tune up and a oil change. i was driving to work today when my service engine soon light came back on. could it be because its been warm here in st louis and all of a sudden its cold. or do i just need to get it reset. i hope its nothing major because im broke right now and cant afford to get it fixed

My gauges not working on the dash

service engin light doesn't mean to do a tune - up . It means there is a problem that is causing a emission problem . DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the engine computer ! Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

Mazda 5/2007 Is there a service indicator, that needs reset

Both, it has an On Board Diagnostic computer, or OBD-II. For giving problem codes. But as far as in tune up wise, only has one for the oil.
