Question about 2001 GMC Savana
Before a tune up the light was one. as far as i know it never went off. after tune up light still on. two different mechanics says its an engine misfire. but with new tune up how can it be. light remains on all the time.
I would have this vehicle scope tested to see which, if any cylinder is misfiring. A tune up WILL NOT necessarily eliminate any ignition malfunction, but a QUALIFIED tech will note a problem. Many factors can be involved in a MISFIRE, including, coils, compression, timing, and more. Hope this helps
