Got in a car accident and the drivers side by the front whell and the door are screwed up.
Hey don't know if these are the types of problems you deal with but I got in a car accident with my Ford focus 2000 2 door. I need to fix the door on the drivers side and the under the wheel well is broken. as well as the bumper. under where the door should be it is bent back. I am going to be trying to fix this with my dad when we get the parts but I was wondering if you could give me some tips of what I could do to help since I don't know the first thing about starting this?

Unforuntaly you didn't look closely enough at the vehicle you should of had someone who knew or a mechinic at least take a quick look before you sealed the deal .
However its not all over .It sounds like you need some front end work and if you got a good enough deal on the vehicle it might be worth repairing .
Have some one who knows look at it then if its to much money there laws in all states that may cover you depeneding on what kind of a deal you made with the other person involved with the deal if he is a dealer then I would think you have recourse
Before you replace anything, inspect the connector pins in both the driver's door switch and the passenger door switch. If you don't find any problem with these connector pins, replace the driver's door control switch.
problems with 3 out of 4 doors? Has your vehicle been in an accident just before these problem started? Cavaliers are known for problems but I have never heard of this type of situation unless the vehicle has been in an accident and the body wasn't realigned properly or verified.
Typically when you get a door that opens from one handle and not the other the problem is inside the door and part of the latch assembly has either broken or come apart. To fix it you have to open up the door itself and get to those controls.
The reason I asked about the vehicle being in an accident is because you described the door opening on it's own. Now that could have been because it didn't catch correctly but with all the other problems you mentioned I am concerned that the doors are out of aligned.

look for any screws near the door handle might be kind of hidden or covered by a removable plastic cover . also start at the bottom corner with a good flat blade screw driver and pry the clips loose starting on bottom corner and across then up .. if all screws are out near door handle you should be able to lift up on the door panel and remove it unless there is a screw in say the window crank if its manuel. electric windows and door locks has a plugin in back you can unplug also to take the whole thing off. thanks Jerry holler if you need more.

This is a common problem with this model. If you access the wires in the boot between the door you will find a broken wire about an inch from the connector. Hope this helps!!
Pop the grab handle cover off, two different styles.
1. With a slot under the grab handle, take a small screw driver off and gently push up, it should just pop out.
2. Simple cover that can be separated with a bone tool or similar so you don't chip the cover piece.
Behind that you will find two Torx 25 screws, Take those out.
Around the edge of the panel should be around 8 plastic rivet type of thing.
Again...two different styles.
1. With center pins that blend in perfectly with the rivet. Should be about 3/32nds diameter. Push the center in and the rivet deals should pop out. Be sure not to lose the center piece...easy to lose.
2. Same deal but with a larger center pin.
Take the plastic triangle piece near the upper right hand area as facing the panel.
Pull bottom away from door and up to release from top section of door.
Careful removing the cable for the door lock release, and remove the connectors from the tweeter and driver's door module.
