You do not add gear oil to your transmission, you add transmission fluid through the dipstick tube.

What type of fluid in 1995 Kia sephia standard transmission

I personally run 80-90 gear oil but some manufacturers recommend 30 grade for their boxes ( straight mineral oil) best check it out at a service dealer centre.

Why wouldnt daihatsu sirion take any gear after changing automatic transmission oil?

There are a couple reasons. First, it could be the wrong oil, but I'm guessing you probably already ruled that out. Second, once you drain the transmission pan and refill it, you must run the vehicle and cycle through all the gears to get fluid into all the hydraulics of the transmission. This will most often result in needing to add more fluid. You must be careful not to add too much transmission fluid though, since this can cause foaming and loss of hydraulic pressure as well.

I had the clutch changed and was told would proably need some gear oil. how do i add gear oil to the 5 speed transmission

Most standard transmissions have a fill plug on the side Plug is usually a good size so that it is not confused with any other bolts. Most oil change places will check and fill the trans as part of a lube oil and filter job.

check the condition of the oil and see whether you have filter in the gear box. Do a flush after renew the oil and filter and clean also the oil cooler of the gear box.On renewing the filter and oil also add a WYNN'S Auto transmission treatment additive.

Where is the gear box oil go

When you say "gear box", do you mean "manual transmission"? If so, you don't normally need to add oil to a manual transmission. If it requires servicing, you may need to pull the transmission.

I have a 1992 nissan d21 pick-up 4WD, 6 CYCLINDER and am trying to add gear lubricant so it will stop slipping how do i do that

I am not sure if you mean transmission fluid, or gear oil. I will assume that you mean transmission fluid, since the level of gear oil in a manual would not affect the transmissions pulling ability. You will want to make sure that when you put the fluid/oil in the transmission that it will not cause it to be over full, so if needed you will have to drain out some fluid/oil before you add the new fluid/oil. In the automatic version there is a dipstick on the passenger side and you can fill the transmission there, and if for some reason you are referring to the manual transmission, there is a bolt that unscrews out of the side of the manual transmission, and that is where you fill it.

I have a 2001 mazda 626 manual transmission . The car jurk in 1st 2nd 3rd gear . Do u think I should add gear oil. Where do I add the gear oil at

It sounds more like a clutch problem than tranny. You can try the oil in there, but I think the clutch is shot. Check the fluid in the clutch master and make sure it is working right, no slipping, crunching, grinding, the jerking sounds like oil on the clutch. Check it out.

The gears are slipping on my 1.9 tdi auto passat ??

this procedure is not recommended, first of all it is not gear oil. it is automatic transmission fluid. this is why VW has made it difficult for the incorrect fluid being added. also the fluid is added from the bottom of the transmission and is only added if the transmission is at a certain temperature.
