2002 Mini non S cooling fan not working, No power at the relay on terminal 30 but has power at 87

Hello there, i think i can solve your problem , check fuse 3 under the hood it should be a 5 amp if its not the check the closest 5amp to that, check to see if it blown if it is blown then your power steering fan is now working as well as the cooling fan, if that is the cause you will need to replaced the power steering fan as well as the 5 amp fuse, and also in addition you will need to sepate the power steering fan from the cooling fan. Mini parts sells a harness to separte the 2 fan

Wiggle the wires going into the door from the pillar where the door hinges are while trying to put the window up or down if nothing happens then change the master switch.

What doese the warning light p/s refer to?

Power steering.Check the fluid. If it needs some, the fluid bottles are labeled on them which makes of car they can be used on.If the level is fine,it needs to be checked out. There could be a bad solenoid. The fluid container is under the hood and is clearly marked with either steering or power steering. It should be a fairly clear container with a mark on the side to indicate the proper upper and possibly lowest level accepted.Greg

My nissan serena has a problem in power steering its hard to steer but the fluid is in the level

your pump is blown, no way around that really. if the fluid is under or over filled it will do the same thing, but if your saying its onlevel then your power steering pump needs to be serviced or replaced.

The power steering on these vehicles is all electric, NOT belt driven. It is possible that the fuse could be faulty, but the more likely cause is a faulty power steering pump. If you have a lift rack the pump is fairly easy to change. There is a diagram of all the fuses you will have any questions about under that dash of your vehicle, either the left or right side. Left is on the kick panel, right is on the dashboard. Good luck.

The HHR does not use power steering fluid; it has an electric power steering motor which is mounted on the steering column under the dash. The motor has no adjustment and no maintenance is required. If you are having problems with the power steering failing you will need to contact the dealer.
