This truck hed a propane coversion. how do you switch from propane to gas and if there's a switch where is it or how do you bypass it ?

to do this it has to be a duel fuel set up and not solely gas
there will be a switch on the dash that is a three way switch and this energizes solenoids for the gas or the petrol as you cannot run both at once
There is no need to by pass it because if you want petrol , just don't refill the gas cylinder and then if you accidentally switch to gas , the engine will stop until you switch it back to petrol
Best idea is to find an accredited shop that handles petrol/ gas conversion and discuss it with them

My flex fuel Fors f150 7700 series won't stay running when I switch it over to propane

presuming you have fuel in the tank, you need to check fuel pressure. Or first physically check you do not have pinched fuel line and fuel filter is new for propane as well as propane pump is working correctly.

Why doesnt my 2000 ford f150 start up when switched to propane

Probably because the converter that changes liquid propane to gas for the engine to use is not working or if you have liquid directly to the injectors then maybe the change over switch is not operational. Where is concerned it is best to have the problem attended to by gas specialists AS gas is 100 times more dangerous than petrol.

Truck runs on propane does not start

Are you familiar with the propane injection system? If so can you tell me what tests you have run so far and what was inspected? Do you have a fuel type selector switch (to choose between Gas and Propane)? When did this problem start and what is the temperature outside? Propane will not convert from liquid to vapor fast enough, if it is too cold outside. Inspect the plumbing between the intake and the regulator. If there is a leak in the plumbing. The diaphragm inside the regulator will not move or open (to let propane flow to the engine). The regulator can malfunction if it becomes clogged with sludge from the propane. They sell a product that can be added to the propane tank. It is used to keep the fuel system clean. Please write back. If you have more details or information I would like to help. Good luck.

P1416 Port Air Circuit Malfunction/ (AIR) System Bank 2 bank 2 is the passenger side of the engine, and the AIR system usually has something to do with the exhaust. Look for broken hoses, vacuum lines, leaking gaskets, anything that could cause air to escape. Check your vacuum lines carefully by using a propane UNLIT propane torch and go around every single vacuum line with the engine running. If the engine rpms increases, you have found the leak. If you find nothing amiss, take it to a professional and do not just throw parts at the problem. You will be money ahead.
