When was your last oil inspection and change oil service, it has been that long then that is what was causing the amber lights to go on and off. Or it might be on the electronics that monitors oil levels and condition , the sensors might be faulty. Same with the blowers , if it fails to run while the vehicle is stationary or parked then you have a faulty blower that needs replacement, but if it does run while vehicle is stationary then you need to check electrical connections or fuses.

Go to AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts and have them scan the ECU (they do it for free, where a shop will charge you). They'll give you the codes, and you can post them here. Once you do that, I can help you narrow it down.

SOURCE: ECU engine management warning light

There is a problem, it needs to go to a factory service center, it can be any one of multiple reasons that turns this light on.

SOURCE: 2004 Mitsubishi Colt 1.1 Engine management light & code P0122

My girlfriends car has just started with the same problem, a limp home from the garage, a sleep over night and als well next day, for a while... I spoke to Mitsubishi and they have told me the TPS (throttle positioning sensor) is on the accelorator pedle assembly. There PN for this is MN125791 and its circa £88 + VAT. After exhausting all other options I may attempt this replacement and will advise the results.

I have a bmw 318 the the amber light of exhaust emission deteriorated has come on There is also cream colour muck inside the engine oil cap. Is it safe to drive. The oil was low.Thank you. Kanica.

That's not good, cream coloured oily muck on the oil filler cap usually means water is in the oil. This would indicate either a blown head gasket or cracked head. Somewhere water is getting into the engine. I would get it looked at ASAP as major engine damage can occur if you havent already done so.

Oil and engine management light keep coming off and on

Is it a diesel? check oil level, if it is high (over full). The DPF filter is blocked, when it tries to regenerate it dumps more fuel into system, if it can't regen the extra fuel goes into the sump, hence the lights. Dealer might be able to force regen, if not it's an expensive replace filter. Blower problem sounds like a bad electrical connection or possible motor fault. test motor first, by direct feed a fused battery link and work your way back to the switch.

My oil pressure guage light came on about 2000 miles after my last oil change. but the light was on only when my car was stopped and ideling. when i was driving the preasure was fine. i changed my oil...

It is possible you have a defective oil sending unit, but most likely your bearing clearances in your engine have increased to the piont that at idle, the oil pump can't keep up. In other words, sorry to tell you, your engine is probably wore out. It will drive ok like that for a while, but it will get worse, and eventually your engine will fail altogether.

My service engine light just came on and i'm wondering what that might mean and what i need to do about it now.

service due light or engine management light??
service light should be a spanner symbol engine light should be amber -yellow colour and looks like a gearbox.
service light.check if your vehicle is due a service if so book it in with your main dealer for a service and they will reset the warning indicator ,or if you know someone local who maintains your car they can reset the service light by holding in the reset trip button whilst turning ignition to pre start position on the display it should count down from ten -0 then reset itself and the light should go out.
management light
this can only be looked at by a suzuki main dealer where they have the correct diagnostic equipment .
dont worry to much if the car feels and drives ok its probably picked up a small fault in the ecu and will be cleared with the diagnostic check .
