Question about Chevrolet Silverado
I have a silverado 1500 V6 The truck takes forever to accelerate using the gas pedal. It wont even reach any higher rpm then 2500-3k even with my foot to the ground. On the highway it takes forever to get up to speed, however if i put it in cruise control and accelerate with the button it accelerates quickly and goes higher in the rpm.

If the smoke is blue, it is burning oil. If it is black or dark grey it is running way too rich, like your choke is stuck on. That would also explaing the jerky acceleration and poor response. Your fuel consumption will also skyrocket.
