Chrysler 3.8L occasional miss or surge missing during right hand curve and engine dies in hard right turn

this problem is an indication of a problem with the fuel pick up in the tank. when you do a hard turn the fuel runs away from the pick up and the pump and injectors starve . Check if the pick up is one side of the tank and not on the middle Check the theory by filling up the tank and seeing if it still does it and at what point of the fuel level it starts.

1989 Pontiac Grand Prix wont start. Engine seems to not be getting any fuel. I believe it is the fuel pump or fuel filter. How hard is to replace on of these and does anyone have a diagram for help??

The fuel pump is inside the gas tank, so the tank has to be drained and removed.
Someone would need to check fuel pressure at the injectors with a gauge, and if it is low, check to see if the pump is getting power from the pump relay.

Whats the possible causes of a P0452 code on a 2001 Chevrolet impala?

Here is the definition of the code.

P0452 CHEVROLET Description The fuel tank pressure sensor responds to changes in fuel tank pressure. Vacuum is consider negative pressure. The information supplied by the fuel tank pressure sensor to the Engine Control Module (ECM) is used in order to detect vacuum decay or an excessive vacuum during the EVAP diagnostic routine.

The fuel tank pressure sensor signal voltage to VCM varies from a minimum of about 0.1 volts with pressure in the fuel tnk to greater than 4.0 volts with high vacuum in fuel tank.

Will my 96 chevy blazer run without the fuel tank vent valve?

fuel tank vent valve mounts on the top of the fuel tank and allows air to flow into the tank so a vacuum is not created. If this valve is defective, the fuel flow to the engine will be severely affected causing stalling and hard start conditions. If your valve is clogged or deteriorated, this is the part for you!

Car starts but when i give gas it dies on me

your engine's starving for fuel. your fuel pump may be bad. if your engine starts ok and it only idles fine, the fuel pump pressure may not be correct. the fuel pump pressure should be around 180lbs to the motor.a bad fuel pump can either quit pumping,or it may only pump just enough to start the engine, but not produce enough fuel to run it down the road.the fuel pumps located inside the gas tank under the car. most shops guage the price of removal and replacement of the fuel pump on how much fuels in the gas tank, the more fuel, the heavier the gas tank. a full gas tank can be super heavy and hard to handle under the vehicle. suggest that you call around local shops for a price of replacement fuel pump.also call local parts places such as auto zone or advance auto parts for prices of the fuel pump, that way you can guage the price of the pump against the labor the shops charge you. hope this helps and thank you for choosing

2001 Chevrolet Blazer LS 2-dr, 4 wheel drive, 2 cranks to start

Try replacing the fuel filter first, but it sounds like your loosing your fuel pressure prim when the fuel pump is not working. The fuel pressure should be 62-65 PSI with the engine not running the the ignition key turned on and should drop about 5 psi when the engine is running. If you turn the engine off and check the fuel pressure, it stat steady for morn then 15min. If it drops fast, then you have a leak at your fuel pressure regulator (common) or your return fuel check valve which is located at your fuel sending unit.
Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter, it could just be to dirty to pressurize the fuel system fast enough giving you the hard start.
Thank you for using Fixya and good luck

Hard to start in summer our in warm gargae, it takes 3 turns of ignition.

A warm engine takes more fuel pressure to start then a cold engine. A clogged fuel filter can cause this or a weak fuel pump can cause this. There are also strainers on the fuel pump in the tank that can become clogged. If the vehicle has been ran out of gas, I would suspect clogged strainers.
