Check fuses and flasher relays..

I checked all the relays and fuses that I could find but they seemed fine. I was reading the wiring diagram and it shows the circuit going through the body processor module before going on to the lamp module. Does this module have any dealings with the indicator circuit that anyone knows about?

SOURCE: Passat Indicators Blowing Fuses 2005 model

It sure sounds like a short in the left signal circuit. I can't say where the wires are routed but you may have one with failed insulation or pinched under some hardware.
You could avoid repeated fuse replacement if you buy a cheap digital multimeter from Radio Shack (if you are in the US) or alternately, from an auto parts store. One adequate for this would be under $20 US. Some have a continuity checker that sounds a 'chime' that stops when the resistance level rises a bit. Since the meter could be damaged if the short clears, it would be smart to disconnect the negative side (ground) of the battery. Putting the probes across the fuse contact will simulate the fuse for this checking but it will not let your signals function. I would punch the probes into the fuse holder, put on the left turn signal and start removing bulbs and checking the routing of the wiring. When the chime stops, you have found the culprit.

SOURCE: My driver side rear brake/turn

The circuit that the bulbs run off of splits. When the bulb is burnt or not seated right, in your case the driver side rear bulb, the circuit requires the current to go somewhere. Which is why the blinker is working twice as fast.

Make sure the bulb is seated properly. I used a Sylvain 3057 or 3057 LL (long life) when experiencing a similar problem and seemed to work fine. Some bulbs have a coating on the glass and the oil from our hands, especially if you eat the amount of beer nuts I do, will cause it to malfunction. Long shot, but you never know.

Good idea to check the cables running into the housing of the light as well. A lot of activity may have pulled something loose. Exhaust your efforts before taking it in, especially with electrical issues. It's something you need so they got you by the beer nuts!

Good Luck

SOURCE: Dash Board ligths not working

What year is this vehicle? It might have an ambient light sensor that has failed if it's 90's+,but older it's most likely the dimmer switch. If it's early 80's you should be able to replace it w/o having to removed the dash, just small panel cover nearby.

yes, have an idea! when the turn signal works on one side or other really fast, you have a blown front or back blown turn signal light bulb.remove the back first,it's usually the one that blows fisrst, but not always! you may have to look or inspect the rear bulb. it will have a blown element in the bulb itself.look at the bulb for a very small wire inside of the bulb,if the metal ring inside the bulbs broken will not work. unfortunatlly, you will have to remove one at a time. i would start at the rear, unless, you've hit something,or been stuck in snow from the front side. if you have been stuck in snow,i would go to the end that's been stuck and start there.other wise just start at the rear and check for a blown signal light will be in the yellow portion of the turn light. the bulb that lights up the yellow portion of your tail light turn signal.if it's in the rear, you will need to access the bulb from inside the rear hatch assembly. if in front, you will need to remove the turn signal light. hope i've helped you! thank you for choosing

When I turn on either left or right indicator both indicators light up

try pushing the hazard light switch again. what you have is the hazard lights in operation ( both sides indicators working) In normal indicator operation power from the flasher unit is directed to which ever side you select but by pressing the hazard light switch the indicator power lights up all lights.

2006 ford Taurus dash lights not working and alarm when headlights are left on is also not working

If you have the owner's manual, check the chart showing which fuse is for the dash lights and that alarm. Try replacing that/those fuse(s) to see if you're back in working order. (Not sure where your fuse panel would be, but try the area under the dashboard on the driver's side.)

2000 taurus left turn signal flashes rapidly and the left rear turn signal lamp does not work. Does ford have burned out bulb sense circuit that would give this indication? The right side flashes normally.

Yes - the fast flashing is a warning that a bulb is burned out. Change the bulb (be careful to put it in the same as the old one as it probably is 2 bulbs in one , parking and turn/stop) and you should be fine.

make sure all the turn lights are working on your car. sometimes this is an indication of a burnt out bulb. you likely need to replace the flasher relay under the dash. if you have trouble locating it. turn on the turn signal that works and listen for it. once you know where the general location is put your finger on it and if it's clicking you have found the right relay.

Have a Chevy Corsica 1996. Blinkers not working right. When I step on brake the arrow on instrument panel for the right blinker lights up. When use left blinker, both flash like the flashers are on. ...

It sounds like a bad light socket. The brake light and the parking/running/regular part of the socket are shorting out. When you press on the brake petal it's shorting out on the turn signal and sending current to the indicator (arrow) on the dash.. When you use the blinker, it's shorting with the brake light and causing them both to flash...

Check the socket and get back to me with the result.

1996 fiesta ghia diesal no glow plug light

No power to the glow plugs means no power to the light also. You have a bad fuse or connection to the glow plug relay. Fix that and your good to go. Has nothing to do with your indicator lights on either side of dash. Glow Plug power indicator is labeled THAT and only that.
