Question about 1998 Ford Windstar
I have a 98 windstar with a good battery (charged, AOK per the machine at Autozone). When you hook battery to the cables, lights will come on for an instant, clock, radio, etc. As soon as you try to start it, all electronics quit. The lights and such will not come on again unless the battery is unhooked and rehooked.
Cables are all clean, and have electrical connection gel on them, and battery starts our Honda Accord without issues.
Where's the best place to start looking?
If the connections on the battery are clean follow those cables down into the engine compartment and check the connections down by the starter. alot of times itll be a crack in part of the line along the way or the other side fo the connection or itll be the connection going into the starter
