SOURCE: fog lights

hi from uk the fog lghts? i assume front fog lamps ? the head lights have to be on dipped beam then the fogs will also work but in uk this is so as to prevent fogs only being used (blinding oncoming traffic ) if weather conditions req fogs to be used for poor visibility ? then the side/tail and h/lights must also be on like wise the rear fog light/s operate the same way hope this helps and makes perfect sense ?? all above is assuming bulbs have been checked and fuse/relay and power to each lamp ?

SOURCE: My tailights and fog lights dont work on my 2003 F250

hi there ,
check your fuses first and see if they are still intact .
afterward i would have a look if the main connectors to your rear light is still connected properly ( it may have come loose and connections may not be right )
also check that water may have find its way through connections and oxidised the connectors .
Last go and check if all the rear bulbs are ok .

SOURCE: Head light is out on passenger and fog lights out

no power probably means a bad fuse or relay going out . the only other thing it could be is bad wiring or it is grounding out somewhere.

Scenic 54 reg hi beams and front fogs not working

It would be easier to find clues to the fault using a circuit diagram.

There are slight differences how the fog lights are wired and generally are intended to be used only with dipped headlights but for exact operational details the vehicle handbook should be consulted.
You didn't mention what the rear lights including the rear fog lights are doing?

The fog lights usually derive the supply or the control for the circuit from the main lighting circuit so it would seem the fault is before the point in the lighting circuit of that connection.

My car( neon 97) didnt have fog lights originaly and i dont know how to instal it

its not a bad job on a neon ,the fog light kit you will buy will come with a switch and the relay and wiring for installing them, they also came with a real good set of directions for doing this,if you need to get someone to help you with doing this, sometimes running the wires is tricky, but other than that the fog lights can be mounted in the same place as the originals was,and they look good,i sold my 97 neon and i had fog lights on it,they were after market but looked and worked excellent, with a little work and time anyone can install a set on any car, good luck.
