Not sure if they are same on 2006 but there should be a couple of small rounded metal contacts, or similar, on door that meet with door post to complete the connection. When you find them, clean them off with a little fine steel wool or SOS pad, minus the soap, and see if that doesn't cure it.

I have a town and country 2006. yesterday my passenger side sliding door button to open the door got jamed and the door does not open from the inside....the door opens from outside. not a power door

You need to remove the inside panel of this door, and confirm the inside lock button is broken...you can first try this at your local salvage yard...then do it on your Van...be sure to keep the assembly from the salvage yard...as you may need some of the pieces...the dealers still sell the complete assembly but cost is much higher...Hope this helps.

If it´s the passenger side where the gas tank fill is, there is a automatic safety device that locks the sliding door, that prevents to open the door while filling gas, be sure that the folding cover of the gas tank is fully closed and nothing is jammed inside

Looking to replace passenger side mirror on a 2006 Town and Country. Anyone have Instructions available?

    Remove Old Mirror
  1. 1 Open the side door to the Chrysler Town & Country, and find thescrew that holds the side mirror molding in place.

  2. Take the screw out and remove the molding panel that attached around the outside of the power mirror.

  3. Remove the bolts connecting the mirror to the door assembly. If equipped, unplug the power side view mirror wiring harness connector.

  4. Unplug the electric connectors, and pull the mirror out of the molding.

Power door lock on pass sliding door not working

I just had mine fixed at the dealer for the same problem. Their first response to me was "this happens ALL THE TIME". He said there is a little plastic pin in the door handle assembly and the pin has been known to slip out of the assembly. However, when they got inside, they said it was the actual door handle (inside) that was broken and had to replace the whole piece. So, the first step according to my dealer/servicer would be to check for the little plastic pin.

other windows work, sliding doors work as does rear hatchback.
fuses seem to be good.
might there be a safety switch that somehow got pushed that keeps the passenger window from opening?
