Question about 1997 Toyota Avalon
Mine was on as well saw a tip here. unhook battery cables, pump brakes 10 times rehook battery cables 30 minutes later. I dont know what the brake deal is all about but it worked for me. Good luck!

All you need do is to take the car for a scan. If there is an error code get back to me.
Or if there seem not to be a code you need to reset the service engine soon/ check engine light.
