Question about 2008 Ford Fusion
Under the blower motor inside the car (this is on the passanger side below the dash, when you get under there you will see the part that will need replacing). There is one screw and a connector to remove then pop the new one in and your done.

SOURCE: where is the resistor for
under the dash on passenger side. take the under dash pannel off and then you should be able to see it. its put in a hole in the heater/ blower motor case and has a 4 wire connector, unplug connector and then remove resistor.the wire colors should be 2 black and blue wires 1 black and yellow and 1 black.

This is the wiring harness for the blower motor resistor, the actual resistor is mounted in the blower duct. If you follow the harness to the left ( towards the driver's side ) it is on the connector on that end.
