If the vehicle did not turn over at all then when it does it again you need to check and see if you are getting power to the starter. You can use a test light or multimeter.Have someone turn the key to crank and you check for voltage at the starter,If you don`t have a meter or test light then tap it with a hammer while they turn the key to start. If it starts then your starter is bad.If it is cranking but not starting then you need to check for spark at all the plugs while someone is cranking the motor. You also need to make sure you have the correct fuel pressure. It has to be 55-62 psi.Just because you can hear the pump does not mean the fuel pump is good.It still has to put out between 55-62 psi no less.Let me know if you have anymore questions.Good luck.

again i say do not replace parts until you know why, too many people have done this. get a spark tester(in line works best) injector tester(noid light) and fuel pressure guage, and a volt ohm meter, the run basic tests, spark, fuel , injector signal, and voltage goin to components, otherwise you are operating in the dark

I need help figuring out what's causing the problem on my car it wont start i'm wondering if it's the ignition i was told this was a common problem on these cars?

Listen for the electric fuel pump to make a werrring sound with the key in the run position, dont turn the key to start you cant hear the noise. It must be very quiet near the car to hear the fuel pump sound. The pump is in the gas tank and should have a access metal plate located in the back of you trunk. Take out things in your trunk to allow someone to put their ear next to this plate so they can hear if the pump comes on or not. It should run for a couple of seconds each time you turn the key to the start position. The pump seems to last about 80000 miles. Also, if you dont hear the pump checks its fuse.

Check the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay first, before replacing the fuel pump. The fuses and relays are behind the the ash tray, The fuses are labelled. The relay is on the left side of the relay rack, closest to the big round bulb out sensor. But before that, how about pouring some gas line anti-freeze or fuel injector cleaner into the tank?
