Vehicle diagram where is the outside temp. sensor located.

Whatever type vehicle that is, if it's newer than 2000 it more than likely has an ambient temp sensor located at front of vehicle and is bad. The part isn't very big but it usuall out front where air can easily hit it to give the temp reading. I hope this helps with your issue, Jesus loves you, John 3:16-17 (KJV)

If vehicle is equipped with ambient temp display and there is no display, check sensor for disconnected/broken. It should be located in front of the radiator area attached to the upper radiator support or one of the brackets bolted to this support

Jul 9, 2010 - I had the outside temp sensor go on my 99 Buick. I don't know where it islocated on the HHR, but it was just a plug in sensor. Take out the old, stick in the new.... 2008 HHR LS 2.2 L Auto Built: 12-19-2007. Bought: 4-26-2009 Location of the ambient engine temperature sensor.... Help ...

Suspect a failure in the ambient air temp sensor. Has the vehicle ever been in a frontal collision? This sensor is normally located in front of the radiator assembly bolted to the rad support. If it is reading a cold temperature, it will not allow the AC to operate

Not shore on the Buick, a lot of European vehicles, have the sensors on or in a wing mirror.

i may be wrong but that sensor is for the ac not for engine operation and at 113 if its not that hot then the sensor is bad but if its summer its ok,, your engine works with intake air temp

If 2.4 engine its on the top of the thermostat housing,if 3.3 or 3.8 engine its on the lower part of the intake manifold near the thermostat,if looking at eng from the front of vehicle its to the left next to a fitting that a heater hose is connected to

Its the ambient air temp sensor. This is usually located up in the front of the car behind the grill attached to the center post that the hood latch is mounted to. It is a 2 wire connector, unplug, replace, replug. Temp will take a few minutes to "calibrate" and all will be well.

the air sensor yur thinking of is usually found out front of the car on the post that supports the hood latch betwween the radiator assemblies and the oute decorative grill. go to your auto parts store like autozone and ask for the ambient air temp sensor. then if they can, ask for a diagram of its location. Its real easy to replace usually one bolt and one wire clip. Autozone has /offers these do it yourself repar guides that can help you .
