SOURCE: Car will not start.Engine turns over but spark plugs willnot fire

I would say replace ignition coil, that might me the problem, otherwise it can be the ecu, which might have some electrical problems not allowing the car to stay running. Good luck.

Back firing under a load. what the valve setting on the intake and exhaust.

there is detail missing here that is essential for a solution
what engine is it , v or straight, no of cylinders
what work has been done prior to the problem
what ,make and model, year of vehicle
you have changed spark plugs so assuming it is a v8 I would be rechecking the firing order of the HT leads ( 2 cylinders crossed )
They will start and idle ok but backfire under load

186 red motor. Why does it have a missfire under load?

Engine is under max load in the situations you describe, so any weakness in spark or low fuel prssure can cause this, even a weak ignition module.

Missfire on cylinder 8 on bmw 545

move the ignition coil to another cylinder and see if the miss fire moves. If so replace that ignition coil. If the miss fire stays on that cylinder it is more likely the fuel injector. Was their carbon on the spark plugs when you removed them? This is indicative that the fuel injector is gummed up.

There is a check engine light on for miss fires but the car dies not seem to miss fire. The electronic controls for the heat and air appear to work but it can be turned up to 90 and blows ice cold or can...

better look at the blender door. this is a vacuum controled door that allows hot or cold air to flow into the HVAC system and blends the temps together to make the desired temp for you, but if this is electronicly controled you might have a temp sending unit bad or even a control unit bad, as for the miss fire most people wouldn't know a miss fire from a bump in the road anymore. engines anymore if there is a missfire code, there is a missfire, find out what cylinder if missfiring and replace the sparkplug, wire, or coil, you can have the wire loaded to see if its the spark plug or not, and then get the coil tested as well, this will say you money inthe long run since replacing random parts if a waste of money on your part. test it and find the failing part and replace...

My 2001 chevy blazer is misfiring and will not rev beyond 2000rpm without cutting out but it idles alright

trying to rev the engine in neutral will not work. the computer will limit the rpms.it is kind of a goofy safety measure built into the system. to diagnos the missfire you can remove one plug wire at a time with an insulated pliers.the missfireing one will -not-slow down the engine speed. if all cylinder are firing properly at idle and only misfires under load you will probably need some help have a driver put on the brake and accelerate a little untill it misses. when you have verifyed this try the same thing with the plug wires while it is missing. do not keep the engine torqed this way for more thn a couple of seconds. you could damage the trans.. when you locate the missing cylinder you will need to find out why it is missing. look at the spark plug, and maybe swap one plug wire for another to see if the missfire moves to another cylinder. i am assuming you have no test equipment. if that does not change, see if you can get at that injector for that cylinder and lightly tap on it with a metal punch.if problem seems to go away or engine misses when tapping injector it will need to be replaced.

03 ram missfiring

Try replacing the plug and plug wires if its a mis fire it should be throwing codes, if so I need the codes to help you. If not throwing codes then it is a mechanical problem could be the vapor purge valve malfunctioning could be a partial plugged fuel filter, does it miss all the time or does it miss under load? more info would help solve this.

Will not start

you need 3 things for engine to run
air
fuel
heat(spark)
usually its fuel or spark that is the missing link
check for spark at h.t. lead by removing one and using screw driver or spark plug or spark tester in lead held away from engine or earth point about 2-5mm and crank engine while watching for spark
check for fuel being supplied at injector rail by removing quick disconnect fitting hose to injector rail carefully with rag under try to remove slowly as soon as fuel spurts out when nearly fully off, is good it means fuel is being supplied this is under pressure if it just dribbles out no fuel being supplied this is if you havent got the right tools for the job
then depending on out come depends where to look next
