Question about 2000 Toyota 4Runner
IT SOUNDS LKE YOUR STARTER IS NOT DSENGAGING AND THAT COULD WEAR OUT YOUR FLYWHEEL A STARTER IS A CHEAP JOB COMPARED TO A FLYWHEEL I WOULD REMOVE THE STATER AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY EVIDENCE OF IT STAYING ENGAGED. ALSO CHECK YOUR FLYWHEEL AND SEE IF IT IS TORE UP? YOU CAN BENCH TEST YOUR STARTER WITH A 12 VOLT BATTERY CHARGER AND SEE IF THE PLUNGER IS MOVING IN AND OUT CORECTLY. OR YOU CA TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE AND THEY WILL TEST IT FOR YOU.
