Question about 1995 Cadillac DeVille
Rebuilt transmission 2 mths ago
Everything was fine until died while driving a few weeks ago.
Ended up replacing Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, and Ignition module.
Battery drains overnight but tested good.
Transmission won't shift into higher gear.
Codes cleared that reappear as soon as ignition turns over are:
p0102, p0603, po753, p0758, p1645, and p1860 and RS0038
I know 102 is the MAF sensor so I replaced it with another but code still appears.
It is strange to me that all this happened at one time without it being a PCM problem and not the individual parts. That would be really coincidental, right?
Dont know what exactly is the problem but all those codes are not the problem the best way is to have some tranny shop to scan it they have the chips to go inside those codes and see which one is broken , i had simular problem all the codes came up i changed parts that i did not need to change but after i found a tranny specialist i paid for my 99 sts $250 changed couple speed sensors one lose wire and done , so be careful try some other mechanic.
