Question about 1992 Chevrolet Camaro
I just changed the spark plugs and wires in my 1992 chevy Camaro 3.1 V6 because it was a bit sputtery when accelerating, but now its even worse, not so sputtering but just slow and louder motor noise, I did gap the plugs to about .035-.045 and suggestions?
You shouldnt have to gap the plugs buy the pre-gapped bosch plugs i use them in all my z's If it sounds like your going 90mph but only going 30, check the catalic converter....If its not that( if its glowing red after driving for 20mins, or when you smack it with a hammer and it sounds like a rock its bad) It could be a timming issue or a distributer/ rotor/cap issue....Is it manual or auto.Is the check eng light on?
