Question about 2001 Ford Escape
Check all fuses.There is a fuse that operates the gauges. When you check the charging system, it should read 13.5-14.5. The min charge rate is 13.5. Should be closer to 14.5. If all fuses check o/k then you should check the charging at 2000 rpm. If the voltage comes up to 14.5 or more then you should suspect the alternator. If this helps ,please rate
