Where is the flasher unit for a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am?

Blinkers work intermittingly.

I replaced the flasher switch but the flasher relay keeps clicking fast when the switch is turned off from either the 4-ways or the directional switch. The lights are not flashing but the relay is clicking away. This was also what was going on with the old switch beside the intermittent lights working.
I have the grand am se2.
    Any ideas
    thanks

The flasher is also a switch. The switch is behind the 4-way button.
carefully pop off the bezel. you will see a green module. this is a dealer only item. becarefull not to break the plastic tabs taking it out. I just bought one, it was $26 and change

Blinkers work intermittently

this car has a flasher module it is one unit and is were you turn on the hazard lights, there was a recall on this part a view years ago, you might want to talk to the local dealer. you might just get lucky and they will take care of it for you.

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I had blinkers and flashers no brake lights, and after checking the bulbs in the light itself I dont have blinkers or flashers at all

Just no turn signals in the back now? Maybe didn't install the bulbs tight back into the asm? No brake lights...do the lights work with headlights on and just no illumination with the brake pedal depressed? Could be brake light switch.

Blinkers work some times and other times not

Good Evening, first you should check with your local dealer to see if the recall has been performed on the hazard switch. Which just happens to be your turn signal flasher as well. I hope this helps.

I have a Pontiac Sunfire 2003, and the blinkers sometimes do not work even though I have activated them. The only way to get the blinkers working again is to turn on the emergency flashers, and then they...

the flasher and the blinkers are serpent elements of the bulb and also have serpent flashers if none of your blinkers flash when manually doing it chock flasher it is round and usually by the fuss box some times on top there is also one 4 the hazard lights be sure key is on

Hazards and blinkers not working

There are separate fuses for the turn signals and blinkers, but you should check both of them just to see if they're good.

You may have a burnt out turn signal bulb as well. I know that this sounds like an obvious answer, but a single bulb can sometimes disable the entire system because of the way that some flashers operate.

You could also have a defective turn signal/hazard light flasher. This is located under the dash board on the driver's side between the steering column and the door. You have to remove the sound insulation/kick panel (the cover on the bottom of the dash board) to reach the flasher (it is easy to remove - I don't think you even need tools).

Flasher unit going off while blinkers are not on.

This sounds like a malfunction with a keyless entry system or a alarm system.
