Question about 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix
After the dealer replaced a faulty ignition coil & wire on no. 6 cylinder, the transmission cannot be shifted into any gear with the engine running. It can be shifted into all gears when the engine is not running. No trouble codes are showing on the diagnostic scan, according to the dealer. Could a blown fuse cause the problem without showing a trouble code? What about a bad skip shift solenoid or shift lock solenoid or clutch position switch?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Check the fluid level on your clutch slave cylinder. Have someone depress the clutch while visually observing the movement of the levers under the hood. Could also be a bad throwout bearing.

This is most likely due to a bad solenoid pack in transmission. You could have tranny serviced and see if it helps. Poor fluid condition makes valves stick in those.
