See all tests, here,
fuse, good, so pump spins, and pump rotor spin?
so does the pump , pump juice with line detached at the pump?
yes, then the line is clogged or the jets are clogged.

Where is fuse for front washer pump located?

This may not be a fuse. Un plug the rubber tube from the sprayer and hit the button. If you get fluid then the sprayers are clogged. You need to check the pump at the tank to insure it is getting power. If you have power and the pump is engaging. You must check all lines to insure they are clear. If there is no power the fuse will be most likely be under the hood in the main panel and my be linked to other systems . Consult the owner manual for the proper fuse.

What fuse for wiper washer motor

The wiring diagrams in the Haynes book should show the washer pump circuit? Often the washer pump shares the same fuse as the wipers.
You could pull off the electrical connector for the washer switch, or the multi-function switch if so equipped, and check for voltage on the pump wire going to the switch, key on. Then check if power going out of switch to the pump-key on and pump switch on. If power on both, the wire from switch to pump must be broken. Run a new wire. If power into switch but none out-switch is bad. If no power into switch for the pump, may have to keep looking for a bad fuse or the wire from fuse panel to the washer switch may have a problem. Hope this helps, good luck.

First check the fuse. If the fuse is good, check to see if you have juice at the pump. If you dont have juice at the pump, check the switch for juice. If theires juice going into the switch, check to see if juice is coming out of the switch.

I'm getting juice to the washer fluid pump but it doesn't run. I bypass the wiring harness and hook it directly to the battery and the pump runs. When I put a test light on it I'm getting juice to the...

For the circuit to operate, it must have both battery voltage and ground. If there is battery voltage at the connector, then hook your test light to the Positive side of the battery and check for ground on the opposite (Black) wire. The washer pump grounds at ground # G-201. It is located behind the right sie of the glove box. There is also a splice in this ground circuit. It is located inside the main instrument panel wiring harness about 7 inches from where the harness breaks out and goes to the radio connections. (It could be a bad/loose splice)

Windshield washer pump not working

Check voltage at the pump, if you have juice when the switch is activated...then you need a pump.
If no voltage, then you have a bad switch or wiring

My 97 mercedes c230 is not getting fuel. I don't hear the fuel pump engaging when I turn the key to the start position. Does this mean the pump is bad? Have heard there might be a relay that has gone bad...

There is an easy test you can do to check this out: Turn the key to the "on" position, but don't start the car. Have your ear near the underbelly of the dash and listen for a click that happens 5 to 10 seconds after you turn the key on. If you hear this sound, your fuel pump relay timer is working, but this does not guarantee that the fuel pump itself is working. (If you don't hear a click, replace the relay - but make sure you're getting power to it first!) Second test is to take the leads off of the pump and hook it up directly to the battery. You can get the juice there from a long jumper cable and some 14 gauge wire. Alternatively, you can hook up a volt meter to the leads of the pump (floating ground, so use the two terminals) and have an assistant turn the key on. No juice? Look for relay problems. Juice? Probably the pump. If you have more than 120,000 miles on it, you might want to renew it anyway. The brushes in the motor have a limited life, at which point it will start to work sporatically or not at all. Good luck.

Screen washers(front and rear) not working

Quick test since you can hear pumps running: Open hood. Look for a rubber hose going up from engine compartment to underside of hood. This should split somewhere if there are two washer jets on your hood, or else they go to your wipers and squirt directly off them, right? There will be a spot close to where this hose leaves the eng. comp. and joins with the hood that uses a splice connector. You can disconnect the hose here with some wiggling, and hit the squirters again to see if water is at least coming out of this primary hose. Yes? Good then the clog is at the jet end, or squirter end. Use a tiny piece of wire, like a bread tie without the insulation, and poke into the hole of the jet and try to clear out the dirt, or mineral deposit, dried soap scum, whatever. Now squirt again. Should start to clear out, or use compressed air and blow through jet. If your clog is not at the squirting end, follow the hose down to the little pump at the side/bottom of your juice bottle. GOod luck, and don't use too much additive, it clogs easier. Also don't use tap water if you get a lot of scale from hard water. THis will clog, too. Good Luck, TT
