I need to raise the drivers power seat on my 2016 new Volvo V90 1" above the current maximum height due to my short height. So far little help from Volvo.

It would not be an easy task as Volvo builds their seat base to lock in to the floor structure of the car, but if you could find a competent machine shop to manufacture 1" spacer plates to mount between the seat base and the floor of the car.

2009 silverado 2500hd wt Diesel chime in ceiling does not work for any notifications, seat belt, low fuel, turn signal on, door any clue where to start looking.

The chime system is a class 2 databus. The chime is actually created by the factory radio and plays thru the left front speaker. If the radio is non factory and the appropriate kit was not used ( which has a speaker for the chine) or the front left speaker is blown then you won't have a chime. If you do have a factory radio and the speaker plays the music fine then the problem lies in either the data circuit or the radio. If you have an aftermarket radio and the correct wiring kit was used then either there is a bad connection, blown chime speaker or defective kit.

My right rear speaker is not working. How does one replace or even access the rear speakers in the 1986 camry? It seems that it requires full-on removal of the rear seat.

The speakers your referring to are in the deck above the rear seats next to the back window. You can gain access to them through the truck. Hope that helps..

06 gmc truck steering wheel button

That is for your on star phone that came with the truck. As long as you are paid up on the on star and have minutes on your phone you purchase them seperately. You can press the button and use the phone the little speaker is really a microphone and the speakers for your phone come thru on your radio.

What's VDM where is located on 1996 linclon continental

well that stands for vehicle dynamic module and it is locate on the back of the back seat in the trunk. it is the square box that is about in the middle and is mounted underneath the rear deck. so when you get the trim panel off and expose all the wires look up where the speakers are mounted. might be just a little closer to the drivers side speaker.

if you have any more question please ask. good luck

Trouble removing speakers

Door Speakers

If you are replacing the door speakers their are many screws that need to be removed, their are 2 behind the little plastic(red)reflector on the doors(these just pop off, held by plastic clips) , their is one in that tiny hole by the handle bar, and their is another underneath the window control pannel(this will just pop off but be gentle their are metal clips holding it in) after that you can pull the panel right off, it will be tough don't be afraid to pull at it(their are those little fake plastic clips holding it in)

Rear 6"9's

To remove these you must put down both seats(to do this there are two latches in your trunk that release the seats.)from the inside of the car you should see a big grey plastic bar, it has 3 or 4 of the little fake plastic screws in them, just pull them out.Next you must remove the trim above the doors in the back seats(these also just pull out. After that the whole back dash panel will come off uncovering the speakers.

Driver Pwr Seat - Half Works & Vanity Mirro

I had the same problem with my 2005 malibu vehicle. To find out the welds they use under the seat to connect the steel brackets are not that strong and snap leaving the seat at an angle position. The best bet is to look under the seat at the side thats angled down and look for a long metal pipe with a U shape it might look a little rusted. If this is so you need to find a welder to reweld the two pieces.
