How much air should I put in the tires

Look on the door pillar of the drivers door. There should be a chart there. Also in the manual in the glove compartment.

What's the perfect air pressure for a tires of 255/r18? Please help me!

no car stated!
tire pressure is a factor of weight on each tire. (unstated)
the makers of tires all publish this chart for every tire made.
then the engineer of the car (unstated car) puts a sticker on the drivers door jam showing you what pressure is correct.
my guess ,you don't run stock tires.?
so go to the tire store and demand the chart.
many shops are clueless , so watch out..... for lies.
or tells you to run the side wall marked pressure, (silly)

you want the tire to not be concave or crown, for best traction
(aka, max rubber on road)
google "tire crowning" and read.

I have a 1998 jeep Cherokee with cooper tires on the front what is the correct tire pressure for the jeep

its on all uSA cars , drivers door.
and in glove box operators guide, lost that. buy one.
look again? for sticker, it is there.
the door jam only covers stock sized tires.
and you didn't post that. P205/75-r15?
each tire made has a perfect pressure based on load on the tire.
every tire has chart for that. (all do)
if not a stock tire. you need a chart.
sold with 5 different tires sizes, says FSM book.

what is important is not driving with cupped or crowning tire treads
this is dangerous to do .
if unsure, do the chock test. (google "tire foot print chock test"
there are only 2 ways
1: the chart or door sticker facts
2: or chock tests.
30 PSI my be a good starting place on stock tires.

doing it right, avoids skids.
or worse careening..

Correct tyre pressure chart ?

open door, see door jam, see that tag, there, showing stock tire pressure? bingo.
or open glove box, take out the oper guide, see it there.
if not stock size. ask you tire maker,, this, noboby on earth can guess this , once no longer stock unless you ask the tire maker.
they DO have load charts, on ALL tires, THEY make.

Goodyear tire pressure chart

the stock car , using stock tires, , the drivers door shows this.

if not stock tires and using other size tires.

that sticker is USELESS,

bingo, you are the engineer now.

and yes you need the factory tire datasheet and pressure loading charts.

for that ask at GooD year, you will need the EXACT tire, type , make, model and size,

each tire type is DIFFERENT.

if you dont do this and use too much pressure the tires WILL CROWN and skid. a danger to you and me on the road with you.

there are 2 ways, to do this.

  1. use the real table for your TIRE

  2. or the the foot print tests. (white chock the tread? trick ,ask)

best pressure is based on total weight on each tire.

that is a hard cold fact.

what you do is, inflate the tire so the foot print is flat

not crowned or cupped.

ASK the maker because they change tire designs like skirt lengths.

match what you have with the correct table.

ask GOODYEAR, direct.

i have it for my tires. on my jeep.

and my jap jeep.

What are recommended tyre pressures

tire pressure is a function of car weight and tire type.
since you didnt post car year, we cant guess that, can we.
for stock tires, in the USA< open door, see tire pressures clearly stated.
for non stock tires, that sticker is USELESS, (not stated)
so in that case you get to play car engineer.
using the offical loading charts on the tire.
My jeep , has this. and i Did that.
if you get the pressure wrong the tire treads cup or crown.
it's a balance this.

short answer, ask Goodrich. or get the data sheet on YOUR tire.
and read it.
it's there,
