Drivers side, from bottom, in front of exhaust, will leak oil when undone. take a little time to position some news paper , to channel spilled oil clear of vehicle, it will drip down cross member otherwise.

Where is the oil drain plug located isuzu rodeo 2000

Hi:
I am assuming your rodeo has the V-6 engine, like the one I used to own. Your drain plug is located on the engine oil pan, along the rear side of the oil pan. this is located in the center of your rodeo, about 3 feet back from the bumper!

I had the valve cover gasket changed on my 1996

on a v6 ? Low on oil? rear cam plugs leaking? The lifters are on the end of the rocker arms and may get clogged. I have had some luck running 0w30 mobil synthetic for about a week or so with a new oil filter [Not a fram filter] and after that put 10w30 synthetic oil back in and a new filter. Check for oil leaking at other locations. If the noise is at the front of engine near water pump it may be the hydraulic timing belt tensioner.
