Question about Honda Accord
I just did the timing belt on a 98 accord and now when i start it the rpms jump to 5k and will sometimes bog to 4k..... timing is all on point and i already cleaned the crank senor... im stumped please help
Check your accelerator cable may be sticking with rust and dirt. check the cable at the throttle is on right.

Check your coil and ignition module and ignition module fuse. this is a primary ignition problem for sure. check the primary resistance side of the coil it should be between 1 and 3 ohms. Also are you sure you put your cam gear at the exact mark it shoul be at and not 180 degrees off, otherwise car won't start.
