I have no idea at all, i never do, i just do the tests, and let the chips fall where they may (truth)
id hated to see you replace the Comb switch , large cost and labor.
why not use a volt meter (any from 1920 to now work)
and why not work with a real book, FSM
or at least the schematic at alldata.com
see how it works,
Gue$$ing not only wastes huge labor, but parts costs.
but my guess is bad fuse or bad combo , bad wires, bad connector./
the search on this web site is near useless.
so here is the drawing.
ALL 4 Turns dead, all 4 haz, good.

first off there are 2 fuses not 1.
#4 and #20 fuse numbers.
i think #4 drives the HAZ (hot all time)
i think #20 drives blink, (hot in IGN on only) ignition key on.......

second rule> is the combo switch is only a digital input to the
combo flasher electronics module (it has the brains(logic) and does the heavy lifting (lamp current) (very unlike old cars)

if you, say, pick left turn. the switch ground the brain.
0volts. if that is zero then the switch is good.
12v bad. easy , huh?

if fuse 20 is good
and the turn switch does 0volts zero volts
the combo flasher is bad.

btw
fuses that look bad are
and fuses that look good,, may in fact be bad
0 ohms is good
infinity is bad. try new fuses, 5min work and 25 cents.

if all this fails, then the wires are bad. (connectors count as wires in my book)
to find that , back probe the same module.
you will find one wire wrong,
now the acid test
back probing , know that skill (?)

combo flasher in juncition box.
test, key on, left blinking......
pin 1, 12v,
pin 6 12v.
pin7 , 0v, (aka C3-pin8) pin 7 is actual module pin, LB /WT

LB/WT ? = light blue with white stripe? my guess, no real fsm.

how is that, ?

Did you check power an grounds with volt ohm meter ? you replaced the combination flasher ? Did you check fuse # 20 & 4 in the underhood junction box ? Pull the flasher relay an check for voltage in an voltage out , need a wiring diagram to do that ! Go www.bbbind.com free wiring diagrams !

Changed brake light bulbs because one was out. Now, one is working fine and the other does not illuminate once the brake pedal is pushed.

try the 4 way flasher switch.. if all 4 corners light up..then it may lie in the turn signal switch contacts..work the turn signals and see if it comes on..

The driverside signals dont work and i think it is the flasher and anyone tell me where it is located on a 2001 jeep grand cherokee larado????

One of your left side parking lights is burned out. Good luck, Ned. The flasher works on resistance and the bulbs provide that redistance.
