Standing in front of your vehicle. The oil sending unit is on the drivers side of the engine towards the windsheild about halfway between top and bottom.

I I have a 98 plymouth breeze i get a swish sound

The AC Clutch is going and is slipping, thus the swishing sound..sorry. When the Defrost or AC is turned on the Clutch is Engaged. And yes the AC Unit replacement is recommended over trying to have the Clutch replaced. Most mechanics won't even try rebuilding an AC Unit.

Oil leak in a 98 plymouth breeze 2.0

I've had a 1990 Acclaim, a 1990 Shadow, and a 1998 Breeze, all have a head gasket leak. The Breeze was the only one to have oil leak and it was on the rear of the engine. I'd guess that's your problem.
