04 Impala 3.8 horn blows low volume and sounds weird

sounds like the diaphragm in the horn is worn/dried out. check to see if you have battery voltage to the horn with either a test light or voltmeter and the horn has a good ground as if not then the horn won`t operate correctly. if these are good replace horn.

Horn won't blow in my 2001 toyota corolla

CHECK for bad grounding of horn itself, rust and oxidation may not allow it to ground, also try "jumping" a wire from battery to horn, if it blows horn itself is good, contacts inside steering wheel button may be bent flat, or wire bad..

Horn stays on

Normally there is a horn relay, try replacing that. The contacts can weld together and keep the horn on. If you take the relay out and leave it out, you won't have a horn but at least it won't be blowing all the time.

My horn blows by it self and i done everything someone told me to go to junk yard and get the entireing horn is that true and whats the name i need to ask for when i go to junk yard i have a airbag also

the horn will only blow when it gets power to it so changing the horn won't solve the problem, you will have to find out why the power is getting to it,there could be a problem with the horn button or a bare wire somewhere that is shorting out & causing this to happen.....hope this helps......cheers.

possible horn itself is faulty and needs replacing. you will need to locate where the horn is and apply power to the horn from the battery. if the horn sounds then you know that it is a broken wire th=o the horn

Horn wont work.i check the fuse in the door and

Maybe horn became unplugged. Put 12 v power to horn make sure horn works. Put test light on terminal on horn have someone press the horn button, if light comes on and horn does not blow you may need new horn. if light does not come on you may have bad contact at horn button, blown fuse, broken wire, bad horn relay or possibly just a bad ground.
