Question about 2006 Hyundai Sonata
The car does'nt start no fire at the spark plugs
the code po 335
defective crankshaft sensor
i'm hesitating to change this expensive part
The crankshaft sensor determines when to fire the plugs; if it has failed, no plugs will fire.
If you have no mechanic friends who know how to test this sensor, you should probably invest in an aftermarket service manual. They have simple tests for most sensors and conditions that don't require costly equipment or detailed knowledge.
I prefer Haynes and they are available on line here:
Haynes Sonata Manual
You may also find them elsewhere for a few dollars less.
