Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier and the parking lights stay on all of the time. Ignition on or off, head light switch off, on parking light position or headlight position. Headlights do not come.on at all. I have the battery disconnected right now. We are stuck, please help. Thanks, Bruce Dexter
Hook up a ten amp charger in place of the battery..red/positive.. black negative..and plug it in...listen for a buzz or hum in a relay..it may be stuck or fused on..

SOURCE: Headlights don twork
the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further

SOURCE: 2004 chevy impala no headlights
there's a button on the right side of the steering wheel that says serv push that button. It's put right there for when they use them as police cars you can cut the headlights off. You will probably notice that dash lights are on.
