Question about 1999 Pontiac Montana
My 99 Pontiact Montana passenger sliding door has stopped working.. The rubber along the bottom of the door had come off, and I have replaced it. Now the door won't automatically slide. I've checked the fuses, child security lock, enabler switch above the dash on the panel, all are good. Any ideas?
Verify the wiring harness which passes under plastic step & carpet at front passenger side. This wiring harness goes from the firewall to the pillar on the right side and some have crimped connectors in them to act as junction between two or more wires (ususlly the 12volt feed), which deteriorate with time, especially with Salt & Water. Then the electric sliding door stops working and even driver the electric seat can loose power.
