Which relay under the dash is the turn signal relay?

Its usually up under your dash. Turn it on and you will hear clicking noise. Reach your hand up and feel for clicking. The clicking is the switch. Then remove and replace

2003 ford explorer sport blinker dont blink on the dashboard... How do I fix it??

if the bulbs on outside are ok, and it will not flash on dash and stays completely lite up. replace the turn signal flasher. Look under the steering column and locate the fuse box. The fuse box is under the plastic kick panel. Under the panel is a yellow case that holds the turn signal relay. Test that this is the relay by turning it on and placing a finger on the relay. You should be able to feel the relay clicking. Pull the relay from the socket and plug a new one back in. Reattach the kick panel and start the Explorer. good-day !

2001 hyundai elantra-winshield wipers not working and it is not the fuse under the dash. could it be the fuse relay under the hood?

It could definately be the wiper relay, and it could also be the wiper motor. If you put a long screw driver on the relay and have someone turn the wipers on with the key on, you should be able to hear the relay clicking as it opens and closes. Sometimes you can put your finger on the relay and feel the relay switching. If you can hear/feel the relay then the next step is the wiper motor. Hope this helps.

MY LEFT TURN SIGNAL ARROW INSIDE STAYS LIT WHEN THE CAR IS STARTED BUT DOES NOT FLASH.THE RIGHT FLASHES.THE LEFT TURN SIGNAL CLICKS ONCE THEN NOTHING BUT IF I MANUALLY PRESS DOWN IT FLASHES.

make sure all the turn lights are working on your car. sometimes this is an indication of a burnt out bulb. you likely need to replace the flasher relay under the dash. if you have trouble locating it. turn on the turn signal that works and listen for it. once you know where the general location is put your finger on it and if it's clicking you have found the right relay.

Right turn signal doesnt work.

Turn signal "flasher" relay has gone bad most likely. Turn on the left turn signal (the one that works) and trace the click click sound by ear until you find the flasher relay, most likely under the dash on the driver side. When you think you've found it, put your finger on it and you will FEEL it clicking. Turn off your turn signal and pull the relay straight out. Go to the auto parts store and get a new relay and reinstall in the same spot you pulled the old one from.

Turn signals don't work fuses have been checked

Probably a flasher. under the dash on those things. It will be a like a round relay. Put your finger on the top of each one while you try to signal. you should feel a click. Thats the one. Pretty cheap and easy. Good luck

Hazard signals

you need to replace the flasher relay. it is located in the fuse box under the dash or it may be a stand alone relay under the dash as well.... easiest way to find it is to turn on the flashers... put your finger on top of each relay till you find the one that's clicking. there is a possibilty that it is the flasher switch tho.... but as relays are relatively inexpensive try replacing it first to see if that fixes it.

Where is the turn signal flasher located on a 1988 chevy ck 1500

Look under the dash for what looks like a fuse panel. I know that the actual fuse panel is under the cover(if you still have the cover!) next to the parking brake release. There is a turn signal flasher unit that plugs into this under dash panel, it is rectangular in shape, and it pulls straight out. Mine went bad as well, turn signal would only flash once or twice, then stay on. If you are having trouble locating it, turn key to "run" and put a finger on the under dash module in the panel I referred to, and turn on the turn signal with your other hand. You should feel the relay energize as a little click inside of it. Remember, it only pulls straight out, and I replaced mine from an Autozone store for about 10 bucks. Good luck!

Blinkers

If you can turn the blinker on left or right and the light comes on but doesn't blink......Open the drivers door, there is a fuse box, On the side of the dash.. The relay willl be a small silver canister looking relay in with the fuses.. put your finger on it and turn the blinker on.. you should feel and hear a click...( With the key in the on position ).. That is what needed replaced if it doesn't keep clicking...Thats the turn signal relay... What makes it blink.......Hope this helps..
Please rate this solution if it helps... Thank You.....
