Code #61884 stops running

Do you have any engine codes? If you do that may tell you the problem. If no codes check the fuel filter and fuel pump. have someone turn on the key but don't start the engine while you listen at rear of car for the pump to run, it should run for a few seconds then stop. If it runs then most likely the filter is stopped up.

possible but I would be thinking that there is a short in a component in the ignition control module or coil pack/s
run the fault codes as there will be a report code

check for blown ING fuse , loose battery terminals
run the fault codes and check for broken timing belt if you haven't had it replaced at 60.000 miles

Probably some sensor is failing. Have your engine codes scanned. many auto part stores will scan your vehicle codes.

Sounds like a key code issue. Was the key dropped and fell apart? the car will most likely need to go to an agent to repair.

It is not running well at all,not with those codes present
Stop using it & have a repair shop diagnose those codes
& make the proper repairs- if necessary

Code 55 is the end code after the diagnostics cycle has been run. If that's your only code, then pretty likely you have no problems in the electronic controls. That would lead me to believe that there is a good chance that your fuel pump is failing...when that happens the pump binds and stops...after it cools down, it will resume operation, repeating the cycle. Next time it stalls, listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key to the on position. If you don't hear it, that's what is happening.
