These fittings tend to cake up with dirt and rust try to flush out the connectors with a good penatrating oil like pb blaster o wd40 and try to twist tool in connector while trying to remove them usally takes some work but will get them to release aslo you may have to push in as though you are installing the connectors to get locks to fully release

My 1992 crown vic is not getting any gas to the injectors i think its my fuel pump i dont know how to take the pump off wat can i do and how do i take the pump off

fuel pump is in the gas tank. Have to drop the gas tank. Make sure that u run all tghe gas out before u drop the tank. Also make sure that u mark how the old pump comes out and put back the same way so the float will work. Watch for the wires on the pump that u do not break any of them.

How to access 1995 crown victoria fuel pump

The fuel pump is attached to the fuel tank on these models. It will be necessary to drop the fuel tank to gain access to it.
  1. Disconnect the battery
  2. Remove the the fuel tank flange and bolts supporting the tank
  3. Carefully lower the tank (this is much easier if the tank is empty as the tank can be very heavy)
  4. Remove all the fuel lines and connectors
You now have access to the fuel pump.
If you want to be unconventional about it you could access it by cutting through your trunk to get at it. Just be careful not to puncture any vital parts.

99 Crown Victoria fuel pump replacement

Use lots of wd40 on tank strap bolts. If they bigin to bind tighten them up and losen again to get rust out of threads. If you remove the straps, why not remove the fill neck and lower tank? Much easier to work that way!!!

Yes you can replace it. It is in the fuel tank. You will need to drain the tank and remove it to gain access to the fuel pump. A floor jack will help when lowering the fuel tank. If you fo to a dealer to do this you will be looking probably around $700.00 to replace the pump.
