Question about 1992 Buick LeSabre
Yesterday, the front passenger disc brake locked up while driving. I had the car towed, and when the car arrived at my house I cranked it up and the brake was no longer locked. Just as a precautionary measure I took off the wheel and tire and checked the the caliber and pads. Everything looked good, however, I noticed that the brake pedal now goes to the floor and I have very little braking power. I took the wheel and tire back off and can now see that when the brake is applied the caliber is not moving. At this point I decided to bleed the brakes. To my surprise, when I started to bleed the brake I was unable to get any fluid out of the line. I checked the master cylinder and it has plenty of fluid. Also, I hooked up a vaccum to try and drawn fluid through the line but that was unsuccessful as well. Any suggestions?
Could be a bad brake hose. take off hose and see if you can blow thru it, very common problem. But first take bleeder out all of the way to see if it is clogged.
