Question about Cars & Trucks
Water is in crisper drawer and in area below crisper drawers of of my elderly mother's Whirlpool model number ET18TK refrigerator. Appears to be plugged drain from freezer, but I cannot locate drain. I did not look very hard yet as it was Christmas today, but I am returning to my mothers this weekend and I want to be prepared.
The water in the bottom of the fridge will be from condensate running down the back wall and not collecting in the drain ridge to flow outside to the dish on top of the compressor. It comes from overloading the fridge by opening the door too often and excess food trying to cool down. check and unplug any blockages in the drain and pull any containers away from the back wall as water will flow off the wall onto them and miss the drain all together. The drain ridge will be under 1/2 way down the back

You can run your garden hose onto your windshield and see if it drains from both fenders (close to the doors). If the water isn't pooling under the wiper-blades then it is probably a clogged drain inside the blower box or air inside your heater-core (could be caused by a leak and-or low coolant.

If you are very handy maybe, otherwise I would send to a repair shop. The front plugs involve removing the starter and other various accesories depending on what ones you need to replace.the rear side is very difficult and are alot easier if you pull the engine.
