Why won 't computer communicate with code checker

Check the cigarette lighter fuse. This is what powers the DLC. If the fuse is good, check and see if the lighter works. If not, you have a bad wire. Code readers have to have power from the car. Most scanners have there own power and will read the computer, unless the data wire is bad or the computer is bad.

Why won't the front turn signal work? I just replaced the entire headlamp assembly on 2005 Chevy Malibu.

is turn signal plugged in?
if this is a new bulb try the old one to make sure bulb is not at fault
then need to check the voltage at the connector.
A test light is easiest way from a good ground to each terminal.
if flashing the ground connection could be corroded.
if nothing at connector try the connection at the turn signal switch.

Can you drive without the pigtail connector to camshaft sensor on trailblazer

Yes the computer will see that their is no signal and turn the engine light on and put a fixed signal in its place . You won't have all the power or fuel milage you should but you won't do any damage driving it

2000 GMC 2WD No communication @ OBD II connector - all ignition and ECM fuses good. Vehicle has 4" body lift - but no sign of torn grounds, etc.

you will need a wiring diagram to find problem, first make sure the power feed circuit is good, use a test light or volt meter will be better, some times cigarette lighter circuit and o.b.d.II feed share same circuit. also look at signal circuit. it should b between 5*7 volts.

Power outlet does not work. radio/cigarette

check and make sure theres no corrosion and if possible check to make sure its plugged in .. the connector is directly behind the outlet so removal of the panel will be necessary.. if thats good the i would check for voltage at the connector if there is( which it probably will have voltage) than replace the outlet..

Radio and cigarette lighter

Check behind the dash for loose wiring connections. Check for bulkhead connectors that could have possibly come partially apart. Check for any under dash grounds that are ready to break or have become frayed.
