Question about 2005 Ford Expedition
My son' struck has this code with the check engine light. Just wondering what this issue is and how to resolve it? Throttle control actuator? Thanks in advance Dave
Or position sensor.. its what tells the fuel pump/injector system how much fuel to add while driving..these are on the opposite side of the throttle body from the linkage for the pedal..on the same shaft.. normally..

For this problem, I looked at the Code results. There are a few parts which can cause it, and in some cases the Dealer will need to install a Data Logger if microwave signals are suspected.
Ford has made modifications to this Throttle body, and parts were backordered for a redesigned throttle body. This may be covered under a Silent warranty and a one on one request for factory assistance.
Or you may try to replace the cheapest part, the throttle position sensor, Several people on the F150 forum changed out that part and it worked. Myself, even changing the sensor, I would want the best throttle body made for my truck. So rather than a patch, if a free factory replacement were offered, I'd take that.
Contact your favorite Dealer and see what they will do for you.
