SOURCE: 1998 chevy K1500 timing runs ok for 10 miles then loses all pwr

1-timing on truck is ajusted by ecm, when u moved it u cause cam sensor code because it detected timing was off! 2-o2 sensors has the role of detecting air to fuel ratio coming out of exhaust, sends signal to ecm wich collects data from other sensors from that sets timing for best performance,if ecm detects something wrong in system data it will give engine code, that code will point at problem area,in your case o2 sensors probably detected lean fuel ratio that points to fuel system, blocked fuel filter or fuel pump faillure, elect, circuit damage, hope it helped!

that code usually means the distributor was moved and the cam and crank signal sync is off,you mwill need a scanner capable of data display to reset it,it should be near or at 0 degrees,if you do not have access to a scanner your local shop should be more than capable of reseting it.hope this helped

SOURCE: clutch slipping?????

Your engine oil might be contaminated and it has nothing to do with the fuel you have added. Ask you mechanic to check that out first plus a diagnostic to see if the throttle sensor needs replacement.

1994 jeep engine stall code 11

The 4 cyl and 6 cyl engines use a distributor, so no crank and cam sensors.
There is a pick-up coil in the bottom of the distributor that could be failing.
Code 12 means the battery has been disconnected or the ECM has lost power since the last scan.

How to fix p1345 obd code on 97 chevy 1500 5.7 Lt.

P1345 is "Crankshaft position sensor / Camshaft position sensor correlation"

Code P1345 determines if the distributor is installed incorrectly, or if a mechanical malfunction is present in the engine. The light will trigger when the engine is running and the camshaft sensor reference pulse is not detected at a correct relative position with the crankshaft pulse. Most likely causes for this Chevy check engine light code include a faulty crankshaft position sensor, a wiring concern or an improperly installed distributor. A quick check on the crankshaft sensor is to monitor the RPM value with a scan tool while revving up the engine. If the reading is close to twice the expected RPM, then the sensor is likely faulty. There are other less likely concerns possible, such as base engine or computer related issues, but these involve more in depth testing. I hope this information is useful.

Code 1345 pops up why

This code is an indication that the synchronization between the Crankshaft and Camshaft is off.
Can be caused by a bad crank position sensor or bad cam position sensor or worn (stretched) timing set. The MOST COMMON cause of this in chevy engines is a worn distributor drive gear.

Where is the cam position sensor located on a 98 1500 chevy p/u5.7

Camshaft sensor, in your truck it's call distributor pick-up assembly, sit in the distributor assembly, will be the connector with three wire's, to replace distributor will have to come out, before remove distributor out, remove cap and make a mark some where, where the rotor is pointing to, so when you put it back in the rotor points where the mark is at, or you will have a hard the setting it with number one cylinder again.

no there isn't a crank sensor. if you have already done this pull the cap and see if thr rotor is even turning. you could have a busted timing chain or a broken cam shaft

code P0320 stored.
Tests/Procedures:
1. Check if the oil pump drive housing has rotated on the hold down clamp. If it has, replace the oil pump drive gear and housing.

2. Scope the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.

3. Scope the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.

Potential Causes: Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP)
Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKP)
Distributor Sync

Only a qulified mechanic will be able to tell you the cost once he eliminates each possibility.
