Question about 1997 Buick LeSabre
1997 BuicK LeSabre Limited was missing pretty bad when driving home. it has not started since. turns over pretty fast but just will not fire. sounds like maybe it fires once ever so often.
Coil pack played out, or timing chain jumped. Use a timing light to see if you have spark. If you haven't, change the coil pack. If you have spark, then check the timing chain. When you aim your timing light at the timing mark, if it's jumping all over the place, you need a timing chain. If that all checks out, you may have a fuel problem. See if you can hear the fuel pump running for a few seconds when you turn the key to the "on" position. If you can hear it, check and change the fuel filter. Let me know how it goes.
