I have a 2002 Ford Escort, I have a problem with my heating, When the car is idelin, the heat works, but when you drive it it dosen't work. What could be the problem

thermostat needs changing idling mean no air flow. so it can heat up. driving the air flow cooling the front radiator cools the system down and you get no heat. your temp gauge will be moving about more than normal.

My 2003 xtype battery went dead and I had to replace it and now my ac doesn't work, blows only hot air and it was working fine before.

your computer needs to be reset.. go out turn the car on. turn the air all the way up as hot as the temp will go, let it run there long enough fro the heater to get hot... then turn it all the way down to the coolest temp and hit ac it will cool down.
