The fault must be in that section as the condenser, dryer and compressor are common to both front and rear outputs.

    but before doing that
The A/C pressure switch is located in the high pressure line (the
skinny one) on the passenger side of the engine compartment just under
the fuse/relay box. The switch has three functions: <28 psi, the
switch opens to protect the compressor from lack of lubrication.
    >220 psi, the switch shifts the radiator and compressor fan to high
speed. >455 psi, the switch opens to protect the compressor seals.
Check to see if you have any powertrain DTC's first. A faulty engine
coolant temp sensor can cause problems with the compressor clutch
relay. If the radiator and compressor fan come on with the A/C on but
the compressor clutch does not operate, check the compressor clutch
relay. You can also obtain Heater control panel diagnostic trouble
codes (DTC's) by turning the ignition switch on. Then turn fan switch
off. Press recirc button to select recirc air. Press and hold recirc to
turn off recirc air but this time continue to hold the button down
until recirc light comes on for two seconds and then goes off. If there
is any trouble, the recirc light will then blink a code (if no trouble,
the light will remain off) 1 blink = problem in air mix control motor
circuit. 2 blinks = a problem in mode control motor circuit. 3 blinks =
a problem in evaporator temperature sensor circuit. (this one could be
a factor in your case) Turn the ignition switch off to end the test.

If the AC Compressor has begun its typical disintegration, (this has happenned to 100's of thousands of units so far), playing with the switches will not fix it. The entire AC system needs to be replaced because the the bits of metal from the disintegrating compressor get all through it and then will destroy the next compressor that gets installed almost as soon as its gets used.

2001 Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo a/c not getting cold, fan in grill not turning, there is plenty of freon and inside controls/fan working fine. Is there a fuse for the other fan?

Yes there is a fuse for the other fan, generally inside the engine bay as apposed to inside the vehicle. I would think it is more likely to be the clutch on your compressor unit that is not engaging when you press the AC button. In this case the fuse on the AC button is responsible and this is also found inside the engine bay. Check either of these fuses and you should get the AC working. If not then there may be insufficient pressure in your AC system or your compressor unit needs changing out.

My AC just went out on my 2005 odyssey. I have verified all the fuses and checked for voltage at all connectors.. Appears my compressor is not getting power. Do you have any suggestions..

Check freon pressure/level. If it's low there is a safety feature that won't allow compressor to activate unless there is sufficient freon.

2002 Chevy Express 1500. A/C Full of freon, fan blows hot air and not cold at all. What can it be?

check all fuses first. does ac compressor come on? if not, unplug pressure switch in low pressure line near where you add freon and short across pigtail. comes on now and cools? replace switch. if not plug back in. apply manual voltage to ac compressor. comes on and cools? if not compressor or clutch is bad. if it does, check ac relay. that's about all you can do with limited tools in the driveway. if no progress has been made, time to take it to the pros.

Air cond dash light works, compressor doesn't go on.

AC's have a low freon switch that shuts off the system to protect the compressor in the advent that you have a freon leak have the system checked for a leak

2002 Honda Odyssey fan only works at high speed. The A/C compressor also does not come on

If the fan only works on high speed I'd suspect a bad resistor in the fan circuit. On a new car it may be called by a different name but in essence does the same thing. It steps voltage down to the fan motor in all speeds but high. I'd check that first assuming there is no obstruction interfering with fan operation in all speeds but high overcomes that obstuction. I've seen mice among other things in a fan box on many occasions. I think the A/C problem is unrelated to your fan problem. This one may be a little harder to solve. The first thing to check is Freon level. The compressor won't cycle if the freon is low to avoid damage to the compressor. Do the fans, both under the hood come on when you turn on the A/C? If so it is more than likely just a Freon issue. If not take it to your local Honda Dealer.
