You have to take off the door panel to realign it.

SOURCE: window is off track

1. remove door panel, door latch handle and window crank unless it is electric, then remove electric control panel , usually on top of arm rest.
2, Remove insulation sound barrier (plastic sheet)
3. Inspect window for damage. If none is found, notice where the window normally slides up and down in what is called tracks. There is felt material inside the tracks.
4. Also look to see if the window has dropped out of the two crossed arms that have white plastic rollers on them. Be careful handling these arms because they are very sharp.
5. Look for small tabs holding track to door. Usually top and bottom. Loosen these screws slightly until you can move them back widening the distance between both tracks so that you will be able to slide the window back into the tracks.
6.Once the window is back in track, move the loosened track back up so its just touching the window, then retighten the screws.
7. Test window operation.
8. If the window comes off tracks again, window regular is causing problem and should be replaced.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Rear window is off track

Its a little time consuming, pretty straight forward. I would send the job out to a body shop . They do this in there sleep and if after you remove the door panel you determine that the regulator is rotted or missing parts , your not waiting around for days with a busted window for your parts to come in. Money well spent. especially if your vandalized or it rains( not to mention the glass window will cut you if your not careful.) Also the sheet metal fram arond this window claims skin even from a pro.

A. The glass came off of the track.

B. You are going to have to remove the interior door panel and the door 'frame' and re insert the glass back into the track.

Should not be too difficult.

Drivers window off track how to repair

You have to strip the door panel off and access the window from there. Before replacing the window, check why it came out of the track and fix that or it will happen again. Look for bent arms, worn pins and bushes or loose bolts and fittings.

Drivers side window falls and wont stay up on track

It sounds like the window elevator is damaged, probably the fastener that holds the window glass to the elevator rail is broken, loose or just came off.

Take the door panel off and take a closer look. If the fastener came off the glass, JB Weld would fix it.

I hope this will help you, good luck

Window away from track

there is a plastic retainer that is attached to the window glass that holds it into the track if the window was frozen shut or pushed downward this clip is very easy to break and the window will not follow the track, this clip is fairly cheap but requires a bit of window epoxy to secure the new guide clip to the window. It is fairly easy to fix.I hope this helped good luck.

Keyless entry only works drivers door, car relocks

The window track may have some grit (sand or dirt) in it causing the window to drop down when it reaches to top of it's travel. This is because the safety feature which keeps you from choking yourself in an electric window works on resistance. Keep the track clean - a shot of WD40 in the track will clean it out. That should fix the window.

The lock problem may be a battery issue in the remote. Otherwise it sounds like it is in the anti-theft unit. Check for a loose ground issue.

Problem is in the door and with the window regulators. Auto glass repair shop is recommended.. The glas may come loose from the regulator requiring some minor repairs to regulator.
