These have 2 10mm nuts on them that have a rubber clamping the window tight . remove door panel and try tightening the 2 10mm that hold the glass to the regular

Wiindow slide down on its own

Sounds like the clamp bolts that hold glass to regulator were loose, so regulator went down, but glass stayed up till you hit a bump or shut door

1999 olds intriuge driver side window fell down one day when i shut my door. my husband has a stick inside the door holding the window up.

  • Well this could be the window pop out of the little metal clamp that holds the window in place or the window 'regulator/motor/track completely went South.
  • You can remove the panel and have a look. It's one or the other.

After you drive the car for awhile you notice a heavy gas odor .And i cant find out where its coming from.

You have a slightly loose clamp on the fuel hose from the fuel filter (on firewall) driver side. the clamp to the fuel rail & injectors needs about one turn. Get long skinny phillips screwdriver to turn and one long skinny flat blade screwdriver to hold the bottom of the clamp from twisting.

I need a window crank regulator for a 1987 honda accord !!!!!!!!! (driver side front) Or a way to get the window up for a quick fix

temp fix:
1. remove door panel
2. remove widow regulator assembly
3. lift window and use piece of wood cut to length, thick styrofoam packing or something simlar; use your imagination, sometimes a hose clamp on center guide(did this on one of my 928's once, temporarily)...

How do you replace the motor, cable and the etc. on a 2000 Buick LaSabre driver side front power window?

I have replaced two of these recently, one LH and one RH. This worked for me but use your own judgment. I removed the plastic insert around interior door handle (it pops loose). Next, I removed the phillips head screw that was now exposed that held the door panel to the metal door frame. I popped loose the cover over the speaker above door panel and detached the wire connected to it. I start at the center bottom of the door panel and began carefully popping door panel loose (I used a special tool for this but a 1 inch putty knife may work although without the tool, it may be more difficult). I worked patiently and was able to get the door panel loose with breaking the plastic snaps. I carefully set the panel out of the way. I did not have to remove the major wiring harness connections on the door panel but I did remove the wiring connection to the door motor. I put the window in the full up position and taped it into place. I had another one once that wouldn't go up so I cut the cable and then it went up. I found two holes through which I could access two small bolts that clamp the bottom of the window in place. The two holes are near the top of the door and were covered with plastic plugs that are just a little smaller than a quarter; they just snapped out. I loosened the two bolts and released the window from two rubber padded clamps. Then I removed the three nuts that held the window regulator assembly in place. One was near the middle of the door and the other two were close to the bottom. I carefully pushed the window regulator back to clear the studs and then twisted it so the top of the regulator fit through the large access hole to the left of center. I removed the regulator. It came out relatively easily but it took a little patience. I did the reverse of the above to install the new regulator. It works like new. By the way, I bought two window regulators over the internet for about $80 each.

Driver side power window motor not working

If indeed you need to replace the motor be prepared for a long day. almost all the newer cars now a days are fused together with the regulator and motor as one unit. first you must take the door panel off and it helps to have some tape handy like duck tape or box tape. if you can move the window at all try to get it about 3 inches from the top and put tape on the window over the door frame inside to outside to keep the window from dropping when you take it apart. when removing the door panel be careful not to yank the wires attached to switches. disconect the wires to the outer panel and put flat someplace safe. most likely it will be 7/16 or 1/2 size nuts or bolts holding the unit together. locate and remove these. also the window glass that is attached to the arm of the regulator. once thes are loose slide the entire unit out of the hole in the door. sometimes this is complicated as you may have to twist the unit in about 50 directions just to get it out. once it is out do just backwards to put a new one in. hope this helped.

Radiator leak

The hose that attaches the upper pipe on the driver side could be crack over the clamp could be loose. Loosen the clamp completely and remove the hose from the radiator. Check the hose for cracks and if there are any replace the whole hose. If not, replace the clamp. Remove the old clamp and get a new one that is the exact size or very similar. place the clamp on the hose, install hose back to radiator and tighten. If this does not solve your problem have the vehicle checked out by the certified automotive technicain.

Loose hose

It is possibly emmissions related. I wouldn't worry about it unless it comes off again or you notice your truck running differently. If it does pop off again, you may want to buy a .80 hose clamp and just clamp it back on to where it pops off.
