Look where your throttle cables etc are attached at throttle body, it should be at opposite end of the shaft that operates throttle plate in front of throttle body opening. Usually held on with Torx screws

SOURCE: i have a 2006 chevy

You do not have a TPS in your car.. I too have a 2006 ChevyAveo.. We have 2 TPS's located inside our Throttle body.. I had the same problem. I have completely replace the throttle body. IT fixed the problem, but when it gets dirty i have to clean it with carberator cleaner. if you clean it don't spray it into it because you ruin the sensors.. BTW you better have small hands to replace the throttle body, i have to use my camera phone to locate he bolts.

Hi Cindy, need to check and see if the belt is turning tightly, they may have not done it,to check, open hood, start engine, leave in park,go to engine, find accelerator cable and rev up gas and see if belts are turning tightly,or have someone rev gas in car and someone watch. Also look around engine to see if they let something out of place, you never know these days, even at dealers.

Just installed a rebuilt 360 in a 1999 dodge truck and it starts and idles but it wont accelerate ?

if it is idling and you push on the gas and nothing happens. sounds like you did not connect the throttle cable back up. Now if it idles and you put it into drive and push on the gas and the engine revs up and you do not move then you didnt hook up the transmission up right. if this is a manual transmission you put the pressure plate on backwards.

Hi, I recommend you take the exhaust pipes loose from the exhaust manifolds to see if your exhaust is clogged. Start the truck--it will be loud. See if it will rev with the exhaust pipes loose. If yes, take the truck to a muffler shop to figure out if your converters or the muffler is clogged.
If it isn't a clogged exhaust, it may be that your timing belt/chain has jumped. We can check that next if the exhaust is open. It's a little harder to do, and your problem sounds more like a clog to me. I'll be here to answer your questions either way you decide to go.

The technician should check for a short by putting an inductive ammeter on the positive or negative cable.

If the draw is over .2 A you have a short somewhere in your car's transmission, or accessories, or something.

When i press the gas peddle the truck respond slugishly

To find if it's the engine or the gearbox's fault do this: put it in Neutral, press hard on the brake and do a swift kick on the gas pedal. If the engine revs the same then it's his fault (check the fuel pump and filter), if it speeds up it's the gearbox (most likely low or burned transmission oil).

Fuel not flowing as it should. 86 Corolla

Check the fuel pump pressure using a fuel pump pressure guage. It would not necessarily be unheard of to have a new, but bad, fuel pump. No or low pressure, then take the pump back and get another one.
