I just got a new battery and a new altenator and my car still shuts down

Shut's down how ? While drive the car will shut down ? How long will it run before it shuts down ? Could be an engine sensor , ignition module ,engine computer etc... Your best bet would be to take to a qualified repair shop an have it diagnosed rather then buy parts the vehicle doesn't need . Any suggestion made on here would really just be a guess .

Why does my car shut down while driving?

There might be a problem with the alternator, specifically the diode trio that is inside the alternator. Have your charging system checked. You can do it yourself if you have a voltmeter. Start car and check voltage across the battery terminals. You should get 14.5 volts or higher.

No, this is not a SHUT DOWN RELAY.. The Emergency Fuel Shut off is one on... It is ON until you reset.

you are having a Heating system Electrical and you are getting Feedback into your System and it will continue until you address the root of the problem.

What is the ploblem if the car shut down when its hot

It is supposed to shut down when it overheats, that is a safety precaution to save further damage. You fix the overheating problem and it won't shut down anymore.

Anti theft system. You might have a door lock causing the anti theft system to kick in. (thinking its being stolen.)

My engines shakes really bad once it starts. it idles for a few mins then it shuts down. this is after it shut down on me on the freeway. all power went of and it just shut down on me. i think is the

I'm no bona-fide mechanic, but I've done a lot of work on cars. It may be you have an engine seriously out of timing. Or you might have loose or worn engine or transmission mounts. If the engine was shaking badly before shutting down, one result of that may be in the fuel system. If your car has a carbeurator, the shaking may have wreaked havoc on your float. If you have fuel injection, I'm not sure what to think.

Hopefully, you've gotten your precise answer before I even read your problem!
