The clutch adjustment will be at the end of the cable . to make the clutch release better the outer cable has to be shortened so see how this can be done . Either by a screw adjustment on the end of the cable or adjusting slots and brackets.. If you do not have a manual as to how to do it then talk with a service department or brake shop and have it explained to you

I have a 1996 Nissan Pulsar Q manual with clutch issues. I had both the clutch and the gear box replaced in 2013.

I suspect it has a hydraulic clutch - some hydraulic clutches share the brake reservoir for fluid. It sounds like there is a leak in the hydraulics for the clutch or the piston in the master cylinder for the clutch is allowing fluid to leak past it. Has the fluid in the brake reservoir been going down?
You may want to check the repair manual (buy a Haynes or Chilton at an auto parts store, or check your local library) to confirm what type clutch you have and the location of the components.

Can you adjust the clutch on a 1999 Nissan pulsar ?

if its a hydraulic clutch no, so if you have a problem with engaging the trans you will need a clutch. first check clutch fluid level and for leaks in system.. if its cable you can adjust.

My gear is stiff and experiencing a difficulty when engaging second gear. other gears seems to be fine but the shifting is not smooth.

I suspect that it will be in the shift mechanism
If it is a cable shift then replace the cable
If it levers or other linkages check and adjust or lubricate as required
I doubt it is in the clutch as you haven't mentioned difficulty in selecting first gear only shifting from 1 to 2nd.

On a nissan pulsar 98 model the trans stick is very hard to get into gear

The syncros in your transmission have gone bad. The synchros allow the gears to mesh easily so you do not have this problem engaging the transmission into gear. If you can not afford to have your transmission rebuilt or replaced I would recommend doing a transmission servie and replacing your current fluid with synthetic tranny fluid. This may help a little. You can also double clutch when shifting.

Clutch cable just fixed and just started to stick to floor again

Check each end of the cable, there should be a clamp that holds the cable casing in place. If the
clamp became loose, when you step on the peddle
it would pull the cable and case not the clutch fork.
And the result would be, what you have now.
I hope this was of some help.

1988 Nissan Pulsar will not engage clutch. Engine

You need to replace the clutch and pressure plate --your clutch is worn out. Plus other parts like throw-out bearing ,pilot bearing and may even need the flywheel machined flat.
You need to take it to a shop or if you are mechanicaly minded could do it your yourself,

5th gear doesn't lock

5th gear is gone, it'll be cheaper to find a good second hand one with a waranty than to get your one fixed sorry to say. The inside of gearboxes are only a place for gearbox specialists and they arent cheap unless you know someone.
